15 November – The Best Festival in town

On Tuesday this week the Bicycle Film Festival rolls into town and with Sydney’s bicycle scene booming it’s going to be bigger than ever!  There is a massive program this year, some awesome films collected around the globe showing in both Newtown and Bondi; a BrainsTrust talk on Tuesday night, tropical sprint racing on the Friday night, a Sydney street festival on Saturday including a halfpipe and the crew from Hell on Wheels, a Cute Commute and City to Surf ride on Sunday, Wrap up party atBeach Rd Hotel Show n Shine comp… what more could you want… oh wait… art exhibition on Thursday night… see you all there.  Check out the BFF Sydney Facebook page for more details!

8 November – MegaPhone…

Have you met the latest Cycleway personality?  Chances are, if you’ve ridden along Kent St or College St over the past 4 weeks during commuter times you would have seen a sensible looking gentleman wielding a large megaphone.  2GB didn’t know what to make of him, The Telegraph likened it to Orwell’s 1984.  I decided to find out a bit more for myself and was pleasantly surprised…

25 October – Postcards from France

Whilst the pros were racing around the Tour de France, I was cycle touring in France.  Bliss on two wheels, more croissants than you can shake a stick at… it was unreal.  This weeks show is an audio postcard of France whilst in the SouthWest area along the Canal du Midi. It’s an old piece of engineering that joins the Atlantic to the Mediterranean; relatively flat and shaded it  makes for wonderful cycling…
