Research indicates that helmet laws are not all they’re cracked up to be.  In an age where the cost of social health is soaring (from obesity and diabetes alone), there is a call for more active (less sedentary) living.  The mandatory helmet law makes a mockery of spontaneous cycling and more active living, yet it’s benefits are very hard to evidence.  This week BikeLove speaks with Chris Rissell, Clinical Associate Professor, School of Public Health at the University of Sydney about some reavealing longitudinal data!
