As any cyclist knows, a big part of the cycling community is advocacy… trying to make the city a great place for cyclists.  This week BikeLove talks to Elaena Gardner, President of BikeSydney a Sydney advocacy group about what is advocacy and what works.  Elaena is just about to head overseas to speak with other advoacacy organisations in the UK, US and Canada.  She is keeping a diary of her trip and meetings on Sydney Cyclist

Rocket Fuel organised a fabulous bicycle scavenger hunt around Sydney on Sunday.  ‘We brake for cake’ was aimed at the lady cyclist and between the challenges you discovered an intimate portrayal of the city.
